I Must Remain Grateful to the Yoruba Movie Industry – Mercy Aigbe-Gentry

The Nollywood actress and fashion entrepreneur, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, opens up on her career and misconceptions in the industry. The Benin-born Edo Maiden also revealed it all about family and acting career, as well as her ambitions as a household actor in the Nollywood, especially Yoruba movie genre.

What projects are you currently working on?
I have a yet-to-be released movie titled Victims for the first time. I am also producing an English-speaking movie. I will feature in the film even though I am famous for my roles in the Yoruba movie genre.

Popular indigenous veteran Yoruba Actress, Olajumoke Eyiwunmi Ray celebrated her 75th birthday on Friday, 18th March, 2016.  Mama Ray’s 75th birthday and 55 years on stage came up at Anchor Events Center, Registration close, Beside Federal Inland Revenue, Agidingbi, Ikeja. During her 75th birthday interview with media, the mother of Muka Ray and Lasun Ray claims she has no plans of retiring at the age of 75.
