Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, the Nigerian Flag Designer, Passes On at 87

The Nigerian history maker, Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, designer of the Nigerian Flag, died at the age of 87. He died on Wednesday, 30 August 2023, after a brief illness. 

His son, Akinkunmi Akinwumi Samuel, announced his death via social media on Wednesday.

Heavyweight Anthony Joshua Wins Robert Helenius with One-punch Knockout

Anthony Joshua, the British boxer of Nigerian origin, defeated the Finnish boxer, Robert Helenius, with one-punch knockout in round seven in their heavyweight boxing bout at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night, 12^th August 2023.

The former heavyweight champion won the fight after he handed his opponent from Finland a brutal punch in the seventh round in the first half of the match.
