Wife
of former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi died on Wednesday, 9th
December, 2015 in the United States of America. after a battle with cancer.
Kate,
54, has been battling cancer for some time before giving up the ghost. Keshi and his wife were
based in the United States where she died.
"She
was ill for a while now and I'm still in shock of this great loss. "She
is more like a sister to me and was the rock behind me and everything I do. My
love for her was at first sight.” Keshi startled.
The Big Boss,
as Keshi is fondly referred to,
revealed that his wife had been sick for a
while but he never expected that the sickness would lead to her death.
Keshi's wife was last seen publicly at the wedding of her
daughter Ifeyinwa,
which held in March at Ekenwa in Benin.
The 53 year old Keshi has been married to his Kate for 35
years. The former Nigeria international defender married her at the age of 21.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
