My name is Olayinka Ismail Abioye, I’m from  Inisha, Odo Otin Osun state, Nigeria.
What do you do for living?
I’m a Script writer, producer and actor.

King Saliu Adetunji, the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland

On Friday 4th March, 2016, the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, presented the staff of office to High Chief Saliu Adetunji as the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, at the famous Mapo Hall, in the ancient city. The ceremony was witnessed by dignitaries from all walks of life, including President Mohammadu Buhari.
Afterwards, the person of the King in his real life was revealed by his brother Ambaliu Adetunji and his son, Abiodun in an interview.

Appeal Court Affirms 5 Years Imprisonment of A Nollywood Actress

The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal has upheld the judgment of a Lagos State High Court sentencing an ex-beauty queen, Ibinabo Fiberesima, to five years imprisonment for manslaughter.

The lower court presided over by Justice Deborah Oluwayemi had convicted Fiberesima of manslaughter, ruling that the actress’ reckless driving was responsible for the death of one Dr. Giwa Suraj on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

Ooni of Ife Marries New Bride, Wuraola in Edo

In a colourful blend of two paternal cultural relations, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, got married to his new wife, Wuraola Zynab Obanor, from Edo State, at a traditional marriage held in Benin, the Edo State capital.
The wedding rites were performed in the traditional Benin culture at the residence of the bride on Ewere Street, Etete, in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.

Benin Republic Recognises Yoruba as Official Language



Nigeria's Ambassador to Benin, Dr Lawrence Obisakin, disclosed that the Yoruba language has been recognised as second official language in BENIN Republic. Hence, Yoruba Kingdom is fully extended in its origins.

Dr Lawrence Obisakin disclosed also that Dendi, another indigenous Benin language, is also being recognised alongside Yoruba by the Beninoise Government, underscoring the affinity between the two countries.

Bimbo, a talented actress is one of the daughters of the late veteran founder of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Adebayo Success, while her husband is a popular movie director in the Yoruba film industry and has shot several movies for many producers. Their wedding ceremony was attended by family members, friends and colleagues.
