The body of actress Moji Olaiya, arrived Nigeria early
yesterday 6 June, 2017. Her body which was brought in from Canada where she
died, arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos and was
received by her family members and some friends.
A memorial service was held in her honour at the LTV Blue
Roof on Tuesday.
The service was attended by a large number of Yoruba
Nollywood artistes and celebrities including Gbenga Adewusi, Salawa Abeni, Fathia Balogun,
Adebayo Salami, Taiwo Hassan, Yemi Elebuibon, Yemi Sodimu amongst other, some of whom gave touching
speeches to the late actress. She will
be interred at the Ikoyi Cemetery today.
The Nollywood star actress Moji Olaiya died on Wednesday 17th
May, 2017. She was 42 years old. She was reported died of heart attack in
Canada, where she gave birth to a baby girl in March. The baby was her second
child. Her first daughter is 18 years old.
The beautiful actress had featured in many
Yoruba and English movies. She was daughter of highlife music legend, Victor
Olaiya.
