Nigeria’s Super Eagles beat Argentina 4-2

The Super Eagles dazed football superpower Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly played in Krasnodar, Russia on Tuesday 14th November, 2017.
It is an impressive warming-up rehearsal for Nigeria’s performance in next year’s Russia World Cup.
Nigeria’s John Obi Mikel, Argentina’s German Pezzella and Argentina’s Enzo Perez vie for the ball during an international friendly football match between Argentina and Nigeria in Krasnodar.

The Super Eagles came from 0-2 deficit to hand over a memorable defeat to the Messi-less Argentines.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho were superb on the attack, with Kelechi reducing the deficit with a curled free kick just before the break.
The Eagles came back in the second half even more determined and put three goals behind the Argentine goalie.
Iwobi had a brace scoring in the 52nd and 73rd  minutes, the second via a well placed pass by Ahmed Musa, who came in for Kelechi. Brian Idowu scored Nigeria’s fourth goal in the 54th minute.
Nigeria ended its successful 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign with a feisty 1-1 draw away to Algeria in their final Group B match in Constantine, Algeria on Friday 10 November, 2017.
