Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi and Ajagungbade Lineage

Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, was born Prince Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi on 27 May 1926 into the Royal House of Oluwusi in the town of Ogbomosho to the reigning king, Oba Bello Afolabi Oyewumi, Ajagungbade I, and one of his queens, Seliat Olatundun Oyewumi.

Life service celebration of late Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi kicked off in Ogbomoso on 22 Jan 22, at the Palace of Soun Ogbomoso.

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji Passes Away @93

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso 1) joined his ancestors this morning Sunday, 2 January 2022.

The 93-year-old monarch passed away at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Having confirmed his death by palace sources on Sunday, the Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, said, “The news of the death of our father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, came as a shock.
