The US 39th President Jimmy Carter Dies Aged 100

The US 39th president and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Jimmy Carter died at his home in Plains, Georgia, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the age of 100.

The Carter Center said the US 39th president died in Plains, Georgia, surrounded by his family.

He was 100 and the oldest living US president of all time, surpassing the record held by the late George H.W. Bush in March 2019.

Sheikh Muhyideen Bello Passes On @84

A popular Muslim scholar and preacher, Sheikh Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello passed on early hours today, Friday, 6th December 2024. His death came as a rude shock across Muslim community in Nigeria and in diaspora. Sheikh Muhyideen’s death was reportedly confirmed by his son, Alhaji Basit Olanrewaju Katibi Bello (a.k.a Aponle Anobi) via social media. He died at 84.
