The US 39th President Jimmy Carter Dies Aged 100

The US 39^th president and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Jimmy Carter died at his home in Plains, Georgia, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the age of 100.

The Carter Center said the US 39^th president died in Plains, Georgia, surrounded by his family.

He was 100 and the oldest living US president of all time, surpassing the record held by the late George H.W. Bush in March 2019.
