Glo Priority as a Proudly Nigerian Telecoms Company – Water Resources Minister

The Minister of Water Resources, Mrs Sarah Reng Ochekpe, while commissioning Globacom’s communication facilities installed at the Ministry of Water Resources office, at the Old Secretariat, Area 1, Abuja, on Wednesday, has commended Globacom for its irrevocable commitment to bridging communication gaps between the government and the people of Nigeria. 

Mrs Ochekpe, said the partnership with Globacom would greatly enhance communication within the ministry as well as between the ministry and its publics. 


The Mnister asked Globacom to extend the fixed lines and other communication facilities to the 12 River Basins, under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, and urged the company to elevate the services to include internet facilities. 

Also, Globacom’s Head, Broad Access, Colonel Manish Kochhar, earlier assured that Globacom, as a proudly Nigerian company, would soon connect all federal ministries’ offices in Abuja and Lagos on its fixed lines to facilitate information dissemination, enquiries and networking among citizens.
