President Buhari Visits Egypt Today for Africa 2016 Forum

President Muhammadu Buhari is departing Abuja today for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to participate in the Business for Africa, Egypt and the World Forum.
According to Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the forum which opens in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh tomorrow, is organised by the Egyptian Government under the auspices of the African Union Commission. He said the forum's objective was to accelerate private sector engagement and investment within Africa and promote the development of African ties and partnerships.

The listed speakers at the forum according to the Presidential spokesman include President Buhari, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and the presidents of Togo, Sudan, Kenya, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea as well as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
The presidential roundtable shall be moderated by the veteran BBC broadcaster, Journalist and Chair, Royal African Society, Zeinab Badawi.
He said other confirmed speakers included the President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and the President/CEO of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-

Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Amb. Hazem Fahmy, Secretary General, Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt  Heba Salama,
Director, COMESA Regional Investment Agency.


He said Buhari would be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelama.
