No Amount of Blackmail Can Stop Gov Ajimobi’s Second Term – APC PRO

Dauda Kolawole, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has assured that no amount of blackmail from the opposition can stop the incumbent governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi from returning to power in 2015.

 

Kolawole made this submission last week in an exclusive chat with the Nigerian Tribune at the state party’s office, Yemetu, Ibadan.

He further said the ruling party in the state is not moved by whatever alliances going on in various parties in the state because there was no need to panic. He hinted that APC as a party is not worried about the opposition’s campaign against the government, adding that both the party and government would survive the slot against it.

 

He said “the opposition parties are just making mouth. No amount of blackmail will stop Governor Ajimobi in 2015. Both parties had had their representatives one time or the other and both were never a match for Ajimobi.

 

“The opposition’s campaign is full of mouth as we used to say. When we go to the polls, we’ll know who is actually on the ground. If for peace alone, the people of the state are not ready to trade anything for it.

 

“Senator Ajimobi has taken governance beyond their reach. His achievement is there to speak for him, he has changed the face of governance in the state,” Kolawole remarked.
