Ooni of Ife Honoured in New Hersey, United States (Photos)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, was honoured along with his wife in New Jersey on Sunday, 12 June, 2016 during his visit to the United States of America (USA). The Ooni was presented with the key to the City of Summerset, Franklin Township New Jersey, and honoured with the proclamation of the town of Franklin in a ceremony on Sunday.

Taking place in New York, the handing over of the key was performed by the Honourable Mayor Philip Kramer, while being witnessed by several American dignitaries.

The Ooni was described as an African monarch entrusted to bless mankind, with Mayor Kramer noting that this destiny is manifesting through Ogunwusi's developmental mission.
