3 Year-Old Girl Beaten Black And Blue By Her 2 Year-Old Girl Schoolmate

Cruel violence launched by a two-year-old girl against other children at a Nursery has ignited parents' calls for her expulsion from the school.

The little violent toddler is alleged to have assaulted several children brutally since September.

Katie Ann Guttridge, 3, is among the victims who suffered a black eye, damaged socket and bite marks all over her face after the cruel attack.

Katie’s mum, Mrs Clara Mackow, 28 said: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw her. I just cried. She had gashes to her lips and a terrible black eye. Katie looked like she’d been in a fight with a dog that mauled her."
“We had to take her to hospital because the doctors thought she fractured her eye socket. She was almost blinded in the attack which was totally unprovoked. The little girl who attacked her has a history of beating up other children. She’s out of control.”

Clara claimed that more 10 children have been assaulted by this cruel toddler over the past three months. Katie started attending pre-school and nursery this September at Ratby Village Hall, Leics. Nursery incident reports show she has been attacked on four separate occasions by the same girl.

But the latest and most serious attack occurred on December 13 when Katie was cornered in the nursery’s reading area.

Katie’s dad Lewis Guttridge, 32, a property developer, rushed her to hospital before calling police.

He said: “I was horrified my daughter has been exposed to such violence in a place which should be safe. I understand the police can’t do anything because of the girl’s age but the nursery should expel her.

“Katie is normally such a bubbly little girl but this has frightened her and left her very nervous around other children.”

Trainee goldsmith Clara and Lewis, who also have a five-year-old son Joshua, want the nursery to take action. Several other parents of the 25 children who attend pre-school at the village hall also want the girl to be expelled.

Another mother said: “The girl is a nightmare. She’s terrorising the other kids.”

Nursery manager Jill Bottrill said yesterday: “We are working to resolve the situation with the local education authority and parents.”

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire police said: “We did get a report from the parents who came into the station and said their daughter had been injured at a nursery by another child. The girl is below the age of criminal responsibility so there is nothing we can do.”

The mother of the two-year-old girl refused to comment on the alleged attacks yesterday.

She said: “My daughter is two years old. I want nothing more to do with this.”

Clara is preparing to take legal action against the nursery, claiming negligence. She said: “I want parents to be aware that when they drop their children at nursery or pre-school they should not blindly believe they will be safe.”
