The
immediate past National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji
Bamanga Tukur has been appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan as Chairman,
Nigerian Railway Corporation. This came after his resignation from his position
as National Chairman of the country's ruling party last week.
Tukur's appointment was announced in a statement
revealed by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of
the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi.
