I am alive, Long Life will be My Lot, says Adebayo Faleti

The reports that the poet, actor and foremost writer, Alagba Adebayo Faleti was dead were refuted and dismissed by the hale and healthy legendary himself.
The rumour was spread all over by unreliable mouthpieces, tabloids and that sort but thrashed by a telephone interview held by the ace and colossal artist himself yesterday Monday with media, spoke:
“I am alive,” he said in Yoruba.
“I am alive. Long life will be my lot.”

Meanwhile, it was gathered on Monday that it was another leading Yoruba culture promoter, Chief Alagba Supo Koseemani that died.
Speaking in a telephone interview with foremost scholar and writer, Prof. Akinwumi Ishola, he noted that it was information on Koseemani’s death that some people were misinterpreting.
Ishola, an associate of Faleti, said, “Baba Faleti is still very much alive. Many people have called me to inquire about the state of things with him. He is still very much alive. It is true that he had been indisposed for some time. But he has got better now.
“The person who has passed on is Alagba Supo Koseemani, the specialist in Yoruba proverbs. I gathered that he passed on in Ibadan on Sunday.”
