A night
of tributes in honor of late Prof. Dora Akunyili as held on Monday, 25th of
August, 2014 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. The former Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) of Nigeria and Nigerian Minister of Information and Communications died June 7 after a brief battle with cancer ailment.
The woman of substance who would have turned 60 on July 14, is survived by her husband, Dr Chike Akunyili, six children, three grandchildren, siblings and several relatives.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
